About the event
Mapouka, the centuries-old West African dance from which modern twerk may have originated, was danced in celebration and ritual, in communion with the Divine. We connect to this essence; we focus on the FEELING. Delicious muscle melt, sweat drip, hips flow like water. Bouncing cells in glee. We make love to Gaia (our essence). We relish in our full authentic power to CREATE, to birth Spirit into matter, whether art, passion projects, children...a legacy of Love.
