cacao ceremony to support our loved ones in Asheville

Time & Location
Oct 24, 2024, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Marietta, 1651 John Ward Rd SW, Marietta, GA 30064, USA
About the event
A community circle to share in the heart-opening medicine of cacao. To weave our prayers for peace and safety. To mourn, sing, dance, and rise together. To rest in gratitude for our tribe.
Makenzie, the woman who birthed the non-profit Kakao Ceremonial Drinking Chocolate, had a vision to initiate the Peace Tour to inspire more community and connection during what could be a rather divisive time in the United States (i.e., election season). I committed to participate in this tour before the effects of Hurricane Helene rippled through our communities. Given what has transpired, donations for this event will go towards BeLoved Asheville to support hurricane relief efforts in that area.
We will be drinking heirloom cacao (chuncho variety) from wild organic farms in the land of my ancestors--Peru. This land pulses with rich medicine, enhancing the already potent transmission of cacaosita.
